True stories from an American Patriot

The Short Synopsis

Revolutionary Souls is a drama inspired by a true story and told through the eyes of Primus Hall 1756-1842 (African American), who in 1835 at the tender age of 79, takes the United States government to court to attain a military pension and to be recognized for his service as a Patriot of the Continental Army in America’s first war.  As the court proceedings begin, the past is told through a series of captivating flashbacks as Primus gives a detailed account of the war and his time riding alongside the great General George Washington. The recounting begins in the spring of 1776 as we follow George Washington and his Army, the story

gives an accurate account of the trials and tribulations that Washington and his troops faced. This is the inspiring untold story that will cross racial lines to tell the heroic true story of the fight for liberty and freedom, with a list of compelling historical characters this epic tale will be filmed on location where many of the actual events took place.

The Directors Statement

I want to thank everyone who's had a hand in making my vision come to reality thus far. This story has been several years in the making and a true labor of love. I conducted extensive research with historians and educators and this story gives an accurate detailed account of some of the most pivotal and heroic events in America's first war.  As a history buff who brings a unique style of filmmaking to the screen, I always seem to gravitate towards the untold historical true stories that bring people of all backgrounds together in a fight for common good. It is my hope that this story will cross racial and political lines on how America was won, not only from the absolute courage of Washington and the brilliance of Franklin but to the heroicism of the numerous free and enslaved blacks, natives and women who took up arms for the cause.  With the support of our newly formed allies, these collaboration of souls is what gave America its freedoms and liberties from the mighty British. These events in our history should never be forgotten but cherished for it's truths and the words in the constitution must be for all it's people, "We the People".  With the 250 year anniversary of America just around the corner this epic tale's timing couldn't  be more perfect and I'm thrilled to bring it to the people.
